Lets face some facts here. Although  the internet has made it extremely easy to market your network marketing business, every networker and his/her grandmother is on the internet these days trying to get you to sign on and become their newest distributor newbie for network marketing success. Sadly, most folks today are still using their company’s own cookie cutter marketing material and websites drowning themselves in a sea of look alikes and lessening their chances of catching more prospects and signing up distributors.

When I click on someone’s link that takes me to one of those sites, I’m like “ho-hum” and “next!” Here’s how branding yourself cuts through the noise and makes you stand head and shoulders above the networker crowd, attracting more targeted prospects who are potential distributors for your mlm:

Branding separates you from the rest of the pack.

Branding yourself helps to create an identity over time that can be different than anyone else. That uniqueness is what helps you attract other potential prospects for your your mlm business.
On the internet that uniqueness  can be created through:
  • Customized Blogs
  • Videos and customized YouTube channels
  • Facebook fan pages
  • Twitter accounts with customized backgrounds

We all tend to notice the things that are “different” from those things that have become “normal” over time.

And we tend to become desensitized to those things that are occur all the time.
Branding yourself in network marketing makes you stand out from everyone else who is kinda “normal.
And people tend to be naturally attracted to those people who are different.

Branding positions you as the expert

By using different media to market yourself differently than your network marketing company does, you gain the opportunity to position yourself as the expert.  Now the kicker is you have to provide value and you can’t just hawk your product.  Just promoting your product will LOSE you prospects because then you’ll be just like everyone else.
Effectively branding yourself means you have to selflessly provide some content that helps people to succeed in network marketing, hopefully like this article is doing RIGHT NOW ;)

Branding positions YOU as an ASSET

YOU are your greatest asset and most important resource,  NOT your network marketing company! And check it, when you have effectivley branded yourself if your mlm ever goes belly up (and trust me they do) your branding will make it FAR more easier to keep your current team and have them follow you to your next venture.  And it’ll make it easy to move your prospects into a marketing funnel or funded proposal network marketing system.

IMHO branding gives you great power to attract others to YOU. And now you have a great responsibility in your network marketing career to give back and help others in return while you achieve network marketing success.
